William Castle would be legendary in my book even if this was the only film he made; thankfully, he also gave us
Strait-Jacket and
The Tingler. But
Homicidal is his forgotten gem! A $10 million inheritance is up for grabs, and the gathered relatives are not as honest as they seem. Mix in a mute, wheelchair-bound nanny (!), and a housekeeper with an ever-so-slight case of insanity and you have the makings of a good time. There’s a high-sterical twist at the end that must be seen to be believed.
