Born from the loins of the cult-film underground, ALL ABOUT EVIL is an over-the-top black comedy that tells the wicked story of Deborah (Natasha Lyonne of American Pie), a mousy librarian who inherits her father’s beloved but failing movie house. In order to save the family business, she discovers her inner serial killer and starts turning out a series of grisly shorts; gathering a legion of gore-hungry fans. What they don’t realize is that the murders in the movies are too real and the audience may become Deborah’s next victims! ALL ABOUT EVIL marks the directorial debut of San-Francisco based, "Midnight Mass" movie impresario and recent SF Bay Guardian 2010 Goldie Award winner Joshua Grannell, who is also the alter ego of Peaches Christ, who makes a cameo in the film. The film also showcases a cavalcade of genre talent including Thomas Dekker (Gregg Araki’s upcoming Kaboom!), Noah Segan (Dead Girl), John Waters’ cult icon Mink Stole and Cassandra 'Elvira' Peterson ("Elvira’s Movie Macabre").
"ALL ABOUT EVIL: The Peaches Christ Experience in 4-D!" slayed audiences this past Summer by invading over 20 cities in North America with its delirious fusion of vaudeville extravagance and midnight movie magic, selling out shows in many cities including New York and Los Angeles with a special 4-night engagement in San Francisco at the Victoria Theatre, where the movie was filmed!! Developing a strong following from audiences and filmmakers including cult-film master John Waters and Frank Henenlotter (Basket Case, Frankenhooker), ALL ABOUT EVIL has also been an official selection at multiple film festivals including Toronto After Dark 2010, 2010 Los Angeles Film Festival and 2010 Sitges Film Festival. The EXPERIENCE has even left a gore-worthy, indelible impression in the U.K. at the 2010 Abandon Normal Devices Festival of New Cinema and Digital Culture in Manchester.
